Spin, Show and Tell

I spinned at the YMCA this morning for 13 miles and then did some pull down and other back exercises.

I feel a bit tired now since the kids are excited about Halloween and show and tell for Alison.

I am sticking with my diet today. I almost went out for lunch for a sandwich until I found out that it was 800 calories when you add up the bread, meat, and mayo.

Our run group has decided to run this weekend. It will be the last 10k of the year.

Oat Meal Plan

I am beginning a formal diet today in order to lose the last 10lbs (Currently weight is 180lbs). According to Health central I am at 14% body fat and if I lose another 10 lbs then I will be at 8% body fat!

So, I believe that I need to get to 8% body fat before I make significant muscle gains to achieve my goal of pumping 75% of the weight 50 times in the Flying Pig Pump and Run.

The key food will be oatmeal.

Breakfast
Protein Shake- Now foods Protein Isolate (All Natural and low carbs and calories)
Mixed with slower timed released protein (optimum nutrition)

Oat Meal after workout around 8pm

Lunch
Chicken Brest on Bread
Oat Meal again

Snack.

OatMeal at 4pm

Dinner
Salad, Lots of tomoatoes, Pickles, and Grilled Chicken Brest Sandwich

Bedtime
Protein Shake on Days when I lift weights or Body Pump.

Day 1

This is my first blog. After completing the Twin Cites in just under 5 hours, I feel that setting up goals keeps me motivated. I ran the first half of the marathon at my goal pace of 2 hours but fell apart at mile 15. It was 82 degree with humidity around 80%. The race director called it the hottest TCM Ever.

I managed to run walk from 15-23 with my huge blister on my right feet. Somehow, I slow jogged the last 3 miles. It was a great experience overall. The fans were all over the course and very supportive. Even though it was hot, and I took 1 week to fully recover including throwing up the evening of the marathon, I would do it again.

I am running with a great group from the YMCA who help to keep me on track.

1) Complete the Winter Carnival 5k in under 20 minutes
2) Bench my weight 30 times
3) Run Grandmas marathon in under 3:45
4) Run half Marathon under 1:45
